This year, as we mark the 9th anniversary of the tragedy
of 9/11, I have posted the newest installment of my annual series, "Remembering
the World Trade Center": "Tim Drinan, Student."
It focuses on Tim Drinan, who, on 9/11/01, was a
sophomore at Stuyvesant High School, which was close to the site of the Twin
Towers.

It's interesting to note a common theme in all these personal accounts of that
tragic event: people coming together to help each other.

My heart goes out to all those victims families of 9/11 (the day the earth stood
