Readers can view a host of reviews of both the first and second editions of Ayn Rand: The Russian Radical. See both the positive reviews and the negative reviews. Those reviews that pertain specifically to the second edition can be found here. Of specific interest among the new reviews is one by the author of The Singularity and Socialism: Marx, Mises, Complexity Theory, Techno-Optimism and the Way to the Age of Abundance, C. James Townsend, who views Sciabarra's work as "one of the Best books I have read in over a decade! Deeply and meticulously researched, methodically argued and immaculate in its conception. A cogent well-supported argument throughout. Each chapter is like a movement of a magnificent classical music opus which builds one after another to a final crescendo in the last chapter! It truly is a MUST read for everyone regardless of what side of the political spectrum you may fail on and whether or not you love or hate Ayn Rand. Bravo to this author, I think this book puts him into the category of the top 10 intellectual non-fiction writers of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Truly a Magnum Opus if ever there was one. Not since the works of Jean Francois Revel (I'm a huge fan of Revel's) have I been so intrigued and in the presence of such a 'unifying' dialectical and deep intellect. If there is one book you must read this century, Ayn Rand:The Russian Radical is it!"
